Sit & Knit

I love this picture. I want this girl to look up and smile sweetly, unperturbed by the fact that a stranger is passing by, watching her knit barefoot. If I were that stranger, say, sitting on a bench across from her, i would be unable to look away. Sure, I'd feel creepy, but you know that feeling? When you see someone who intrigues you (male/female) and for no particular reason your eyes keep sweeping over them as you try to understand what the hell it is about this person that is catching your interest. This girl: I want to ask her where she got those pants and who taught her to knit. I want to slip my shoes off slyly and pretend that it was my idea first to sit so comfortably in the public eye. She is content. From this picture I can deduce that when I'm her age... (early twenties?) I want to be as content and self satisfied as she is. I want to look mysterious,well-to-do, and approachable. I'll let this girl alone now. A picture is worth 1,000 thoughts.
